Lutheran World Relief (LWR) extends a special plea for health kits.
Following the recent earthquakes in Haiti and Chile, LWR’s supply of health kits has been used up. When people loose their homes a basic necessity, simple hygiene, becomes a huge problem. Receiving a health kit provides them a way to wash their face, brush their teeth and comb their hair.
LWR is holding a special ingathering in Northern California just for the purpose of collecting health kits. We will be taking all the kits we collect to Advent Lutheran, Morgan Hill on April 24th. From there they will be delivered to a LWR warehouse in either Minneapolis or Baltimore.
Below are the instructions for assembling a health kit. They need to be followed exactly.
