Our Kids of the Kingdom Sunday School group welcomes all children, preK – 5th grade, to learn about Jesus’ love for us, and how we can follow his lead in our everyday lives. At MLC, we use a Rotation Model for our Sunday School program, in which the same Bible story or theme is taught for several weeks. Each week, the children rotate to a different station. The story remains the same, but children experience it in different ways. The repetition is intentional and important — as children explore the story in different ways, it is reinforced in their memories. Rotational learning is exciting for teachers and students alike – the variety keeps interest high and reinforces learning through storytelling, theatrical recreations, cooking, science, games, music and more.
We have a dedicated group of volunteer teachers that share their talents and enthusiasm with our children each week.
