Please join us for a potluck picnic lunch at Lake Lagunitas.

Meet at church at 10:30 a.m. to car pool to Lake Lagunitas.  We’ll enjoy lunch, fellowship and a short Bible study led by Pastor Kathryn.

We had a great time at VBS this week and now we invite YOU to join us for the Closing Celebration Service this Sunday, August 8th at 11:00am.  This worship celebration is a wonderful way for everyone to get together and for the children to share with you things they experienced under the baobab tree.

The service will be filled with songs the children learned.  We will see skits that were presented during the week, and the children will do an African dance that they learned. At Baobab Blast the 2^nd -5^th graders mixed and kneaded bread, which will be our communion bread on Sunday.  Everyone is invited to communion!

The service is followed immediately by a picnic, so we hope you can stay for that.  If you can let us know whether you plan to come, that will be helpful, if you don’t know that’s okay too — you can just show up.

Quilt Raffle: The drawing for the quilt/pillow will take place during the picnic.  (You do not need to be present to win.)  If you have not yet bought tickets and would like to, they will be available this Sunday morning.

Again, we have loved having your children with us this week!  We look forward to seeing you on Sunday morning.

Saturday, July 24th, 11:00am

Join us for a potluck picnic at  Fort Cronkite.  Invite a friend.  We will meet at church at 11:00am to carpool.  While there we can simply sit and enjoy each others company or some may choose to to go for a short walk.  Pastor Kathryn will share a short devotion on “Pray Always” with us.

Women,
     You are invited to join us for women’s fellowship as we enjoy a walk along Richardson Bay to Tiburon.  It is an easy walk — mainly flat.  We plan to meet at church at 9:00 a.m. and return by 11:30 a.m.  Bring water to drink and remember your hat and sunscreen.
     We encourage you to bring a friend.

On Sunday, June 6th we will hold our annual Sunday School picnic in Corte Madera Park.  Following the 9:00am service we’ll head to the park for games, food and fun. Please mark this day on your calendars.  It is a great day for the kids as well as parents to visit with one another.   For more info please contact Michele Jacobs or the church office.

As Sunday School takes a break for the summer, we encourage you to sign your kids up for Vacation Bible School, August 2 – 6.  VBS is always a fabulous week of learning about God’s love while having loads of FUN.  All children ages 3 years through 5^th grade are welcome so contact the church office & register today!

The first vote on the revised Constitution will be on June 13 during a congregational meeting following the second service.   All members are invited & encouraged to take part in this important meeting.  A light lunch will be served.

If the revisions are approved, a second vote will take place in September.  The Constitution Task Force has spent two years working through every section of the Constitution and By Laws – line by line.  The committee has sought input from the congregation, reviewed the constitutions of various other churches and spoken with their leadership, and read and jointly discussed a couple books related to church organization.
