Wake Up with Worship - Early morning summer service at 7:30 a.m.

Wake Up with Worship – 7:30 a.m.

Sundays: June 21st – August 30th, 2015

For those who have plans later in the morning, come together for a brief but meaningful time of singing, scripture, prayer, homily and holy communion. Each week we will gather together on the patio. This summer, enjoy early—early worship—outdoors, as the sun is rising and the air is crisp and clean!

Dinner Church - June 28th

Dinner Church—On the Patio this Summer!

Whether you’re traveling Friday evening through Sunday afternoon or just want to try something new, Dinner Church continues on the Fourth Sunday of each month from 5 p.m. to about 6:30 p.m. Each time we meet we enjoy worship, fellowship and spiritual growth in the midst of a meal. The food is provided, (and we ask for a $10 donation for adults and $5 for children, with a maximum family donation of $25). Please email or call the church office if you’re thinking of coming. Yet, even if you decide at the last minute, come!

Our “Spiritual Growth” component this summer will be a few of the Academy Award winners, (or nominees), for the best animated short films. No more than 15 minutes in length and engaging by all ages, we will view the movies and then briefly talk about what they might mean for our Christian lives.

On Sunday, July 26th we will see the 2011, (84thAcademy Award), Winner: The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore, by Moonbot Studios—William Joyce and Brandon Oldenburg. “Charming, humorous, and poignant is the best way to describe The Fantastic Flying Books of Morris Lessmore, a little piece about the power of stories and how they can positively affect our lives.”

On Sunday, August 23rd we will view the 2011 (84th Academy Award) nominee, La Luna, by Pixar—Enrico Casarosa. La Luna is a wistful coming of age fable about building a ladder to the moon. The film concerns a young boy who rows out to sea in an old wooden boat with his bickering Papa and Grandpa, unaware that they are about to embark on an exciting lunar adventure.
